Live Your Dream art contest pays tribute to the launch of Soroptimist’s new program—Dream It, Be It: Career Support for Girls. The global program aims to help girls to reach their full potential and live their dreams, by providing them with access to professional role models, education and other resources they need to achieve their career goals. In honor of this exciting new initiative, we invite students, ages 4‐18, to draw a woman who serves as a mentor or role model in their lives and share how this woman inspires or motivates them.
Artworks are judged in the following categories:
- Category 1: Ages 4‐7
- Category 2: Ages 8‐11
- Category 3: Ages 12‐15
- Category 4: Ages 16‐18
- Students must draw or paint a picture that depicts a woman who serves as a mentor or role model in their life.
- The drawings can be created in any medium that remains flat on the page, i.e., pencil, paint, crayon, or even computer‐generated using computer drawing or design software. All artwork must be original. The use of clip art is not permitted.
- Work should be no larger than 11” by 14”.
- Students and their parent/guardian must complete the entry form and attach it to the back of their artwork. Artwork that does not have an attached entry form will be disqualified.
