Soroptimist International of Mandaluyong was established in 1964 with Ms. Peregrina Reyes as Charter President. From four members it grew to 26 professional women coming from different sectors of the industry: banking, legal, construction, business, real estate, insurance, food manufacturing, etc.

The Club has won several Cash Grants and Awards not only from Soroptimist International of the Americas but also from Soroptimist International of the Philippines. Several projects had won awards from SIPR and SIA, namely: Nutrition Feeding for Malnourished and Undernourished Children, Bag Making for the Disabled, Teach and Transform Teenage Girls, Saving Girls at Risk and Voc / Tech Assist.
